Classification: Chondrite CK6 S1/W-low
Time/Place: March 2016 in Hamada of Zag, Maroko
Mass: 394 gram

History: The meteorite was bought March 2016 from a meteorite dealer in Hamada of Zag, Morocco.
Physical characteristics: The meteorite shows a fresh grayish-greenish sawn surface.
Petrography: The meteorite is largely composed of recrystallized olivine-dominated matrix with few scattered chondrules still being discernible. Maximum chondrule diameter observed is 1.6 mm. Intermediate plagioclase occurs frequently in the matrix and is up to 150 µm in size. Cr-rich magnetite is abundant. Minor phases include low-Ca pyroxene, Ca-pyroxene and troilite.
Geochemistry: olivine: Fa30.9±0.2, n=16; low-Ca pyroxene: Fs26.4Wo0.6 (N=3); Ca-pyroxene: Fs11.4Wo46.0 (N=3); Cr2O3 in magnetite: 4.7 wt% (N=3)

There are only 34 other CK6 chondrites with total weight of 3kg. The biggest one have 1.1kg and 1kg. NWA 10671 is 13th CK6 from hot desert and 35th CK6 ever from 296 specimen of CK group.
