History: The meteorite was purchased from a meteorite dealer in Morocco.
Physical characteristics: Dark brownish rock lacking fusion crust.
Petrography: The meteorite displays a dark brownish interior and is composed of silicate (about 50 vol%) and metallic (about 50 vol%) portions. The silicate fraction shows a recrystallized texture dominantly composed of up to 1 mm sized low-Ca pyroxene and calcic plagioclase. Pyroxenes often contain feldspar, sulfide and blebby metal inclusions. Some larger feldspar grains contain arrays of typically elliptical silica and augite inclusions. Minor phases include chromite, FeS, and merrillite. The metallic lithology consists of only weakly altered kamacite and taenite.

NOTE: Slice protected with Paraloid B44 layer. Do not add oil on surface, its not needed.
