Petrography: (C. Herd, D. Poon Matsune, UAb) Optical investigation of a 2 × 2.5 cm polished and etched surface reveals a well-developed Widmanstatten pattern consistent with medium octahedrite (1.1±0.3 mm; n=24). No inclusions were noted. No alteration is evident.

Geochemistry: ICP-MS data, using sample of North Chile (Filomena) as standard, average of three replicates (C. Herd and S. DuFrane, UAb): Ni = 78, Co = 4.93 (both mg/g); Ir = 1.20, Ga = 20.2, Ge = 38, As = 5.7, Sb = 0.062, Sn = 2.2, Ru = 6.9, Pd = 0.4, Re = 0.075, W = 0.9, Pt = 9.8, Cu = 159, Au = 1.17 (all μg/g).

Classification: (C. Herd, UAb): IIIAB iron, medium octahedrite.

CONDITION: Slice both side etched and covered with paraloid.
