Classification: Iron Ungrouped
Place/Time: 2021 in Morocco
Mass: 1848 grams

Physical characteristics: The single, rounded mass has a orange-red to red-brown exterior.
Petrography: (C. Herd, D. Poon Matsune, UAb) Optical investigation of a 3 × 3 cm polished and etched surface reveals microscopic spindles consistent with a plessitic pattern. No inclusions were noted. No alteration is evident.
Geochemistry: ICP-MS data, using sample of North Chile (Filomena) as standard (C. Herd and S. DuFrane, UAb): Ni = 123, Co = 6.7 (both mg/g); Ir = 1.6, Ga = 10.5, Ge = 123, As = 12.5, Sb = 0.105, Ru = 9.1, Pd = 0.8, Re = 0.12, W = 0.95, Pt = 12.3, Cu = 306, Au = 1.9 (all μg/g).
Classification: (C. Herd, UAb): Iron, ungrouped, plessitic. May be related to IID irons by extension of element-Au plots for Ge, Ni, As, Pt, W, Ir, and Re trends to higher Au values, by comparison with Wasson and Huber (2006).

CONDITION: Slice both side etched and covered with paraloid.
