History: The meteorite was purchased from a dealer in Mauritania.
Physical characteristics: Grayish rock partly covered with fusion crust.
Petrography: (A. Greshake, L. Eisgruber, MNB) The meteorite is a polymict breccia composed of up to 5 mm sized basaltic, diogenitic, and impact melt clasts plus a great diversity of up 2 mm sized mineral framents all set in a fine-grained clastic matrix. Mineral fragments include diogenetic orthopyroxene (about 35 vol.%), zoned pyroxene, exsolved pyroxene, and calcic plagioclase. Minor phases are silica, chromite, ilmenite, troilite and Ni-free metallic iron.
