History: The meteorite was found during a search in Algeria and subsequently purchased by the main mass holders.
Physical characteristics: Brownish rock partly covered with fusion crust.
Petrography: The meteorite shows a gabbroic texture predominantly composed of patchily zoned clinopyroxene (48.3 vol%), zoned olivine (27.2 vol%), and lath-shaped maskelynite (23 vol%) with a mean grain size of about 800 µm. Most olivines show pronounced shock darkening and some contain trapped magmatic iclusions. Minor phases (1.5 vol%) include ilmenite, titanochromite, and pyrrhotite.
Geochemistry: olivine: Fa37.1±8.9 (Fa27.0-49.5, FeO/MnO=51±1, n=7); pyroxene: Fs29.5±6.1Wo11.3±9.1 (Fs25.1-36.7Wo4.5-32.6, FeO/MnO=30±2, n=7); maskelynite (An51.0-57.6Ab39.9-45.9Or1.9-3.7, n=7)
