History: The meteorite was found during a search in Mauritania and subsequently purchased by the main mass holder.
Physical characteristics: Dark brownish rock with some fusion crust.
Petrography: The meteorite is composed of silicate (about 65 vol%) and metallic (about 35 vol%) portions. The silicate fraction predominantly consists of up to 1.5 mm sized low-Ca-pyroxene and calcic plagioclase. Pyroxenes display weak compositional zoning and sometimes contain blebby and lamellar augite exsolutions. Metal is well preserved and mostly kamacite with minor taenite. Minor phases include silica, troilite, chromite, and merrillite.
